Choo-Choo

Paul had a five day weekend the first week of November so we decided to go for a ride on the Boulder City Train. I love seeing the excitement on Dean's face when he gets to experience new things. Lately, he has really been interested trains. When we pulled up to the train station, Dean was asleep in the back seat. The second he realized where we were, he couldn't be stopped. We had shown up about 30 minutes before the train was to leave to see the train museum. For the entire 30 minutes Dean ran up and down the side walk yelling "Choo-Choo".

I love this picture! Dean is so much like his dad!

Baylee and I did come to ride the train, too. It was so cold and windy that we only lifted the baby cover for just a quick photo to document that this sweet little miss was here.
Once on the train and in the heated train car, Dean was ready to explore. He didn't want to sit still too long.
But once the train got moving, he was content to sit to look out the window.

The train goes up the track and back down so while the engineer was putting us in reverse, Dean wanted to see the car show that was going on at the casino outside of Boulder City.

Once the train ride was over, Dean signed and said "more -more".

I needed to show just one more picture of our sweet little miss. She was an angel the entire day and then came home to be miss smiley.
We love when Dad has the day off work! Since our train expedition, all Dean wants to do it play with trains. Hopefully, Santa will bring Dean his first train set. :)
