Dean's Two Weeks Old!

I'm amazed at how fast time has flown by in the past two weeks. Our lives have

been changed for the better and we couldn't be happier.

This handsome little man

has brought so much happiness I can't express.

Since the day Dean was born he has been wide eyed and content. (I think he gets that from Paul)
I'm the proud mother of a two week old that only gets up once during the night and he has been doing that since the second night we brought him home. The first night we were up every hour, Paul and I taking turns. We thought he would sleep in the bassinet in our room for the first couple of months but Dean had other plans. Sadly, my two week old is content to sleep in his crib not sharing a room with Mom and Dad. :(

We have been lucky to have both Grandpa, Nana Janet, Nana Cindy and Grandpa Greg come visit. Dean wanted them to all know how much he misses them. (Our little man doesn't cry very often so we had to document his sadness that they are not here.)

One thing that Dean really doesn't like is tubby time. I tried giving him a bath on my own yesterday, only to be peed and pooped on twice! (I'm not an experienced mom that could document such an experience) Then I would have the nerve to put lotion on him. He was not a happy camper. However, when daddy decides to put lotion on he makes sweet faces like these. It helps to have an extra pair of hands to document such sweetness.

We've had so much help these past two weeks from our wonderful parents and our Ward family. I can't thank everyone enough for the food, cleaning, dishes, time and service you have done on our behalf. Thank You!
