After a long 27 hours in the hospital baby Dean is finally here. He's been a handful for Mom since the beginning but he's been a terrific baby so far. I guess he finally realized who the boss is. We'll, actually he's still the boss but I'm still bigger and have a deeper voice (this is Paul by the way).
He was a skinny 6 lbs 9 0z and 21 inches long, with big hands and long skinny feet.
Kaytie couldn't be happier. This is probably the only time anyone will get away with a picture with Kaytie without makeup on and live to tell about it. Kaytie had a c-section so she didn't get to hold the baby right when he was born. This is probably an hour after the birth. Way-to-go Honey, you did awesome!
For a good three hours after the birth Dean just chilled out and looked around at his new kingdom. It was fun to watch is eyes look around at every thing. He even rolled his eyes a few times. That doesn't look like a good sign of things to come.
And the proud father. Don't worry he doesn't have a Harris noes. Everyone says he looks like his father, but then they make sure to mention that he has Kaytie's nose.Thanks for all you love and support! More to come soon!

Congrats!!!! I am sooo happy for you guys! You should have heard the screams at YW on Wed when Verona & I realized we had a pic on my phone of the baby...and then Rand found one shortly after. He is so cute! The girls just kept saying how excited they were to meet him and kept coming back to take another peek. He will definitely make a fine addition to our little YW family. Call if you need anything.
