Gourmet?

After a taxing day at the office. It's hard for me to come home and cook a fabulous meal. So I ask Paul what he wants for dinner and he gives me two options: tortilla pizzas, or his bachelor favorite "chili dogs." The production of the chili dog was once nothing more than a hot dog with chili on it. It has now evolved into what he has proclaimed to be a "master piece." You tell me, if it is a master piece, can I count it as a gourmet meal?

"Chile Dogs"

One can Hormel Chile

4 sliced hot dogs

4 slices of bread

Grated cheese (Montery Jack works best)

Dorito's or Frito's

Ketchup

Cook the sliced hot dogs in the chili. Serve over a slice of bread.

Top with cheese, Doritos/Frito's, add ketchup to taste.

I think that he uses it as a mean to eat a gallon of ketchup. In the near future ketchup sandwiches may become the main course. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE ARE POOR, JUST SIMPLE!

is that for real or did a ketchup bottle vomit all of over a can of chili?!?
I guess if it gets eaten you can call it gourmet...I think scotty would totally grub down on that!

Kaytie I'm so glad you let me know you startred a blog. I love blogs just for the fact of keeping in touch with friends and family and probably knowing more than if you just talked with them about what's going on. It was fun to read your blog and catch up on you. I'll add you to my list and come back and visit. The dinner looks gourmet! I'm sure Dustin would love that, we'll have to try it :)
