Conference Weekend

I really enjoyed Conference Weekend. I enjoyed hearing our Prophet and other General authorities speak. I think I enjoyed it so much because Church lately has been kind of hard, I mean really hard. We barely get through Sacrament meeting and then the rest of the meetings are spent running the halls with our cute little monster below. Usually, one of us gets to enjoy at least one meeting while the other is chasing him down. So I guess its not so bad but conference this past weekend was awesome! Here are a few reasons why:
While Mom and Dad watched and listened, this little monkey read any story book he wanted.
Was able to walk around and be as loud as he wanted.

(One of his new favorite things is to wear daddy's shoes, will even put them on himself.)

Eat lunch with Dad.

(Note: the chips he put on his sandwich just like Paul does)

Play with my school bus and new sand toys, all of which are way to big to take to church with me.

Wear myself out enough to snuggle and watch a little bit of conference. (Yes, he still has a bottle at nap time. I promise it will be gone before the new baby gets here but I enjoy the time it gives us to snuggle.)

While dad was at the priesthood meeting we headed to the park with the sand box and played until Dad took us to Cafe Rio for dinner. Conference weekend was relaxing, enjoyable, and uplifting.

It's ok, Benson is still on the bottle too. Did I tell you he grew out of his milk allergy? Yay! Sorry to hear church is so difficult. I guess that's one good thing about Benson not walking yet! Anyway, such cute pictures! I can't believe how big he is getting!

Thanks for posting pics of the little man! I'm glad you were able to enjoy conference, that age between mobility and nursery is so hard!! Good luck!

I can't believe that sweet face doesn't like church. But, Uncle Gordon is almost 50 and he still doesn't like church!
Miss you.

DEAN!! What a handsome little guy! I love that picture of him reading books...so cute!

Good luck with the next few months of church, I know it can be killer! I remember Jack still wasn't old enough to go to nursery when Bianca was born...that was a rough couple of months! :)

Yes! watching conference in your robe and slippers is sooo nice.. Almost as nice as playing with your big trucks.

What a sweetie.... He's just like most boys his age about Church... but soon you can go into nursery.
(At our ward we let little ones go in early if a parent goes with them)
It also helps them adjust..
Good Luck.
