One busy month...

One very long post!

We finally made it to Chicago to see
Amber, Tadd and kids. Here are a few pics of our trip:

Who doesn't go to Chicago and have pizza.
Paul was in heaven, this pizza had at least three pounds
of melted cheese. Yum!

Chicago is rich with culture. We walked through the Art Institute of Chicago, walked the streets and saw the most amazing and fascinating sculptures.
Here is Paul enjoying the "Bean".

This is a picture of inside the "Bean hole"!
We tried to count how many times we could see our reflection.

Our Favorite part of Chicago was touring around
the City with Amber, Tadd and Family.
They were awesome tour guides.

The view from a top of the Sears Tower.
We were lucky to see it on a clear day.
Our flight into Las Vegas showed a sad sky line and
made me miss the tall buildings of Chicago.

After the Sears Tower we rode the subway, took a trolley, went to the Lunchable party, walked through Navy Pier, rode a Ferris wheel and swings, saw the stained glass museum, took a boat ride on Lake Michigan, saw Buckingham Fountain (shown below) and went to the Blues Festival.

The next day, we went to see the Museum of Science and Industry. This was Paul's very favorite part of the museum. We tried to get pictures with us by the Nazi Submarine but it was to dark. We also were able to take a tour inside. It was amazing to read all the stories and here how this sub was taken during WWII.

On Sunday we were able to visit the bog. I can't explain exactly what a bog is so I won't try but there were so many wild animals, interesting plants and walked on a floating pathway that was wobbly at times.

We had an awesome time visiting with Amber and Tadd. Amber is an amazing cook and they were the best hosts. Thank you again for making our last big vacation before the baby comes a blast.
