Diaries of a Greens Keeper...

Chapter 5:

Water Hazard Falcon Ridge Golf Course offers approximately seven water hazards to challenge the skills of golfers. Hazards that range from the difficult lake in front of the green to the pesky babbling brook running through the middle of the fairway. I sure am glad the designers of the golf course kept maintenance personnel in mind throughout the design and construction of said water hazards. With that in mind. What do you get when you put a steep slope, wet grass, a lake, and a novas rough mower all together in one area?
Luckily neither the mower, or the person operating it (Gilmer) suffered any damage or injury. The only trauma was suffered by the grass in the form of big tire marks from when the tractor spun out trying to pull the mower out of the water.
